Communication design, product design

In Sölden, Austria, the Silberbrünnl chairlift serves as an important feeder lift in the ski resort. The existing 4-seater chairlift is being replaced by an 8-seater model with a total of 83 chairs to increase comfort and passenger capacity. The new lift features advanced D-Line technology from Doppelmayr: a conveyor belt facilitates boarding, weather protection hoods and comfortable individual seats improve the ride experience, and closing bars ensure optimized safety. In addition, artificial intelligence is used in the lift to detect dangerous situations at an early stage and support the cable car personnel. Specially developed mesh graphics on textile have been created for the chairs, which blend seamlessly into the design of the Sölden mountain railways. Details in the design of the seats and their seams have also been individually coordinated.
