As a unique selling point, Doppelmayr's cable car chairs can be fitted with a customisable textile, covering the entire back surface. To communicate this special feature, a series of examples were created. With a combination of images, graphics and texts, a series was developed that plays with different base colours and shows the entire range of possibilities on each chair without losing its consistency.
Since the graphics are used in international presentations, typical Austrian catchphrases were selected and explained in English with phonetic script. This playfully encouraged customers to pronounce the sentences and enhanced communication between the visitors. At the same time, the graphics and texts represent the duality of Doppelmayr: a globally active company with strong roots in Austria.
