This modular platform system for reversible aerial tramways includes platform screen doors as well as an adaptive parapet concept. Taking into account different cabin lengths and widths as well as various station layouts, we designed a system that meets the highest requirements for modularity and technical feasibility. This way, it can be used for new Peak Line stations as well as for the modernisation of existing installations. Together with the development department, a system was created that enables smooth operation even under the most extreme weather conditions. The system was finally optimised during technical testing in the cold chamber. In addition, customisation options make it possible to cater to individual customer wishes and to offer visitors an unobstructed and breathtaking view, for example, through the fully glazed versions.
