D-Line Book

Communication design

To appropriately showcase Doppelmayr's innovative D-Line product developments, a lookbook was developed by MOJA Design that brings together all the innovations and equipment options of the premium series in one high-quality print publication. The book serves sales teams worldwide as a central presentation tool at customer meetings and international trade fairs.

The entire project, spanning all disciplines, was created and managed by MOJA Design: Responsibilities ranged from the strategic development of structure and layout and copywriting for all texts, to organising and overseeing elaborate photoshoots and creating precise renderings to visualise complex technical details in a clear, aesthetic visual language. A particular challenge lay in editorially preparing and structuring the D-Line's wide range of equipment options, technical specifications, and product variants so that, despite their complexity, they remained clear and easy to grasp. Coordination of printing and production through to the finished book was also part of the scope of work.

At first glance, the purist cover design conveys the value of the book: subtle matte-gloss effects reveal the title depending on the angle of light, while the rough surface texture provides an exceptional tactile quality reminiscent of the natural alpine environment of ropeways. Inside, the reader is guided through the entire portfolio via varied double-page spreads, with the products staged in a technically reduced yet aesthetically refined look.

Alongside technical specifications and equipment variants, the book also conveys the design philosophy behind the D-Line, showing how its design language and materiality carry through consistently across the entire product family. Despite the sheer volume of information, the editorial approach remains clear and easy to follow throughout. The result is an extensive, elegant publication that offers an aesthetic insight into Doppelmayr's product range while making the value of the brand tangible on every single page.
