The newly designed aerial tramway cabin embodies a holistic brand experience of the highest caliber. The goal of the development was to combine a design language consistent across all systems with maximum technical efficiency. Building on CWA’s proven “Kronos” modular system, targeted refinements have created a look that seamlessly complements the award-winning ATRIA cabin.

The exterior makes a strong visual statement: two striking, silver-colored bands encircle the cabin and open dynamically downward. This characteristic line work gives the cabin a distinctive, sporty-elegant identity. Large-scale, high-contrast branding enhances the long-distance impact and ensures maximum recognition.

Inside, design and comfort merge to create an extraordinary experience. Dark tones and warm materials create a calm, high-quality atmosphere that deliberately contrasts with the radiant mountain landscape. The generous panoramic glazing offers a breathtaking 360° view, turning the journey itself into an emotional highlight.

Well-designed acoustic solutions—from sound-absorbing ceiling surfaces to functional partitions—create a pleasantly quiet environment. At the same time, technical components and controls remain discreetly in the background, allowing guests to focus fully on the experience.

In the Kitzsteinhorn ski area, both the ATRIA cabins of the “3K-Konnection” and the newly designed gondola cabins of the “Gipfelbahn” are now in use. Two of these cabins transport guests to an altitude of over 3,000 meters to the “Top of Salzburg” panoramic platform, the highest point of the ski resort. This creates a seamless, modern, and harmonious brand experience.

The new aerial tramway cabin combines technical efficiency, design, comfort, and brand identity into an impressive overall presentation. This creates an exclusive cable car experience on the Kitzsteinhorn in one of the most fascinating mountain landscapes in the Alps.
