The exclusive Champagne Gondola on the Zugerbergbahn represents the transformation of a conventional cable car cabin into a luxurious event space. In the high-alpine setting of Lech am Arlberg, near the Balmalp ski hut at an altitude of 2,100 meters, this cabin serves as a mobile brand ambassador for a discerning audience. The implementation goes beyond visual branding and includes structural modifications to the cabin.

A central feature of this structural transformation is the custom-designed, automatically extendable corner element. It provides storage space for glasses and cutlery without compromising the interior space. The integration of technical components makes it possible to meet the requirements of a service offering within a limited space.

The interior is designed to accommodate up to seven guests. At its center is a custom-made table featuring an integrated, three-part champagne cooler that ensures bottles are kept at the perfect temperature. High-quality textiles and curtains enhance the character of the space. A gold-mirrored interior ceiling not only enhances the visual appeal but also serves as a functional element for taking selfies, allowing all passengers to be captured in the frame. This feature encourages guests to share the special moment on social media. The resulting posts generate digital reach and thus become an important part of the communication strategy.

The renovation harmonizes the cable car’s technological infrastructure with a sophisticated aesthetic, creating an authentic brand experience that goes beyond mere transportation. As a result, the ride to Balmalp becomes an exclusive moment of enjoyment high above the ground.
